The goal of Kids 4 Kids is to teach children how to handle negative situations in positive ways so they can help themselves and others.
What you would see at a Kids 4 Kids session are the same mix of children as you would see in any classroom. Kids 4 Kids Leadership Programs are fun, motivational and informative. Children love attending and come back time and time again. There are four, five week session programs. Each session runs for ninety minutes. Each program incorporates cooperative games, team building activities, original stories, role plays and instruction which captivate the children attending and motivates them to pursue their personal best.
Kids 4 Kids programs utilize cooperative games like dodgeball to teach specific leadership concepts. If children are engaged and having fun they are more likely to learn and use the strategies being taught. Here is an example of how a program works:
A TYPICAL SESSION: Story: No Rule Day: Concept: The Importance of Rules and why we need to follow them; Dodgeball: Concept: Sportsmanship, How to Deal with Cheating; British Bull dog: Concept: The Art of Paying Attention; Discussion: What are the Characteristics of a Leader? Flinch: Concept: The Attention Seeker/Negative Attention versus the Positive; Story: Hide and Go Flush; Concept: Peer Pressure and Friendship.
